Meet entrepreneur and law student Ydelmis Cutino. Young Cutino will be a corporate attorney by age 21 or 22; which makes one wonder what is the driving force behind her motivation to start her career faster than most students. She might say it was the inspiration from her family and the support she has received that has given her the confidence to meet her goals head on. Cutino is on her path to become a lawyer, and the sooner the better. Now 21 years old, Cutino is already in her last semester of law school after wrapping up her high school and her undergraduate degree whilst being an entrepreneur that owns a Notary Services business “Cutino Notary Services LLC“.
What inspired you to choose a career in law?
My passion to advocate , along with my strong desire to help others with their legal needs is what inspired me to choose a career in law.
What advice would you give other aspiring entrepreneurs?
I would advise other aspiring entrepreneurs to never give up. Although, this is a typical advice, it is indeed immensely powerful. There will be times of discouragement, but if you genuinely want your business to excel and believe in it, you will be able to make it happen. Also, write down your goals and break them down into the # of years to achieve them, along with your plans on how to accomplish every goal.
What inspired you to start “Cutino Notary Services LLC”?
The need for Mobile Notaries with the growing demand in Real Estate is what mainly inspired me to start Cutino Notary Services LLC.
To what do you attribute your success?
I attribute my success to God for continuously blessing me and opening doors of opportunities. I also attribute my success to my family, who wholeheartedly support me, and to my resilience to any new challenge.
What is your next big goal ? How do you think you can achieve this one?
My next big goal is to open a multi-million-dollar Real Estate/Business Law Firm. I can achieve this goal by exposing myself to the industry and obtaining as much experience as possible, along with using the Business Plan I have prepared.
What sacrifices have you had to make?
Part of success is being disciplined enough to make temporary sacrifices for long-term success. The sacrifices I have had to make would be the following:
Pull all-nighters to study for an exam or complete a project
Work 12–14-hour days, at times even 16-18 hours a day, and repeat for several days consecutively
Replace recreational time for study/work time
How do you think all modern women can be more fulfilled in their lives?
All modern women can be more fulfilled in their lives by seeking a higher force of faith and living life to be the true BEST version of themselves each day. Fulfillment is achieved by pushing everyday to be and do more .
What is a skill you think all women should learn and why?
A skill that all women should learn is the skill to be multifaceted and be everything for yourself. A woman should be able to not just be good at something, but at everything she puts her mind to.
What has been your key (or keys) to success?
Faith, Determination, and Persistence have been my keys to success. Along with these skills, I also have implemented daily routines into my schedule that allow me to be motivated and ready to conquer the world. My daily routine consists of prayer/gratitude, biblical devotions, motivational videos, daily affirmations, and planning. Each morning as soon as I start my day and every night before I go to bed, this is my routine.
Tell us about your proudest achievement?
My proudest achievement will occur on May 23, 2021 when I am conferred a Juris Doctorate’s degree in Law at the age of 21.
Through God’s grace, I will be one of the youngest law school graduates.
I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Business Management at the age of 18 and was the first dual enrolled student in the County at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee.
I also became an entrepreneur at a noticeably young age and wish to continue excelling in each chapter of my life, with God’s will.
