Share us some tips on how to become a better skilled writer?
Confidence, structure, and a handy thesaurus. When writing, your tone and attitude are being portrayed to the reader; having a sense of confidence enhances your likeability and the understanding your reader will have. In any writing assignment, structure is important because it helps to keep your intentions clear and straight to the point. For example, when you’re formatting a resume, make sure you clearly mark each section for the employer to pinpoint. Lastly, a thesaurus lessens your chances of using the same words and sounding repetitive. Using different words—although they have the same meaning—will strengthen your versatility among other candidates, peers, or whoever is reading.

What are the steps someone needs to go through when writing a resume?
Making sure their resume is eye-catching! Next, word choice is extremely important for a resume! The simple changes from “in charge of a team of five employees” to “managing a team of employees,” makes all the difference. Also, making sure there are at least three responsibilities/job duties, all in present tense, change the tense of the resume. Lastly, always have someone ready to be able to proofread your resume to ensure there are as few errors as possible. These few things may seem miniscule however, these are some of the steps I take when I begin to format a resume for a client.
