Think about the people you know who are great at what they do. More than likely, a passion for their work underpins their performance. What they do to feed themselves is what will grow. Another words, if you feed and focus on negative thoughts by repeating negative thoughts and behaviors this will take precedence your life. Read on to find out the 7 Steps for Growth in Business.

When you are tired of spinning your wheels without success you will eventually dig your heels in and say enough is enough. There is a lot of things you can get away with on occasion. A bad attitude, compromising, impatience and it’s permissible but not very profitable. If you live at that shallow level, letting feelings rule you then your negative thoughts and feelings become your reality.

Negative focus

I want you to reach your full destiny. When you let feelings rule you then you open yourself up to being a slave to self-pity, anger, depression etc.… because we let our feelings stay on the throne and forefront of our being. Ordinary impulses never go away and feelings will be always there but don’t give into the ordinary. You might say, you have always been impatient, angry, bothered by people, short tempered or depressed. You have to stop feeding those feelings and negative focus. Anything you feed is going to grow, so when that emotion of anger or depression comes and you keep getting upset, you are giving it more power. It’s like a person addicted to a drug, the more he takes it, the more he craves it. The desire becomes stronger. In whatever area of your life that you’re allowing your feelings to rule and take over, it’s going to grow. Ex: If you’re constantly getting upset and stressed out every time you’re stuck in traffic then you’re feeding the impatience.

If you want to get out of the control of ordinary impulses, you can’t just wish them away because it’s part of life and being human. The way you break free is you stop feeding them. Next time you feel those ordinary impulses, put on relaxing music, and listen to a motivational speaker. Feed your optimist side not your negative feelings. As your positive mind shift gets stronger the normal impulses won’t control you any longer. You will occasionally feel negative emotions, but you don’t have to act on them. Self-control is like a muscle. If you don’t use it, it becomes weak, so start using it.

For every life shift first starts with a mind shift. Emotional maturity has everything to do with what kind of personal testimony you are displaying in your life. Are you living by feelings? Are you watching out for negative people, growing emotionally and feeding yourself with positive thoughts?

If you want to grow in business, feed yourself with positive daily affirmations. Take each day as a challenge to propel to a higher level. Pay attention to what you’re feeding yourself emotionally and grow successfully in your desires and passions. Here are the 7 Steps for Growth in Business.

7 Steps for Growth in Business

1. Find the fault lines surrounding your passion.

Look for the holes or things that could be done better within your life. From there, think about how you can create something sustainable. Identify the three main problem areas you’re faced with and look at what solutions already exist and how you could be improving them and act upon them. From there, it was just a matter of creating a strong plan.

2. Become an expert.

You need to know what you are talking about. Don’t say you want to start a circus because you love animals but disregard the fact that you don’t understand things such as maintenance, real estate, insurance and marketing. You must know your passion inside and out, as well as how to operate it.

3. Stop listening to everyone else.

Clear your head and don’t allow the noise of good intentions shape your life. You can define your own destiny.

4. Don’t be a slave to your feelings.

Only those that feed themselves with positive thoughts and positive people will succeed. Doesn’t mean you can never be around someone who needs you, that’s ridiculous. You need to feed them as well. Don’t be afraid to change your path.

5. The moment you grow out of your current role, leave.

Every day you do something you are not passionate about, you become increasingly ordinary. Know when enough is enough and change needs to take place.

6. Volunteer and sit on boards.

Many opportunities start here both professionally and personally. Networking and the ability to tap different ways of thinking matter. You’re looking to feed yourself!

7. Bring those you are trying to support into the conversation.

Find ways to open channels of communication so that you involve others in your thinking and action so you receive valuable feedback to help you move forward.

There are certain situations we can all relate to that make us uneasy or leave us feeling we wish we had acted differently. We all have the ability to fight self-critical voice, but you have to be willing to put in the work. You must learn how to handle your mistakes and respond well to criticism, foster compassion for yourself and others and set up goals that will enrich your life. Starting first with the visualization for self-acceptance and self-love will allow you to achieve your goals. Silencing that inner critic and empowering yourself courageously will lead to success and allow the real you to emerge. Keep pressing forward with these 7 Steps for Growth in Business!
